In order for the mind to be healthy and functioning correctly the brain needs plenty of good quality sleep, when it receives this it can recalibrate itself.. Since the brain controls all the functions of the body, if the brain isn't functioning properly, then nothing else in the body will function properly either.

The person suffering from insomnia will be very prone to illnesses, and a host of other ailments. Lastly, if a person is suffering from insomnia and the effects of sleep deprivation, then they will not have an effective weight loss program. Again, the body needs a chance to reset itself, and when it is not getting enough sleep, the body won't be able to loose weight.
